This accordion menu component makes navigation up and down menu levels fast and effortless. As the user drills-down into the menu layers, an accordion opens up presenting a navigatable breadcrumb structure back up to the main menu.
The component can either load the menu structure once from a static XML file, or it can dynamically load the levels on-the-fly through AJAX calls to a database (e.g. MySQL).
The component is easily skinned using standard CSS and can be used with modern mobile web frameworks such as iWebKit, JQTouch, JQuery Mobile, or Sencha Touch.
The component is free for non-commercial websites.
